Fourth studio album, following 2005's 'Flock', from this Irish trio. Named for the first plane to break the sound barrier and featuring ex-members of Juniper - which famously also included Damien Rice - Bell X1 are massively successful in Ireland and have been critically lauded the world over for their scratchy, quirky, literate pop-rock which is reminiscent of 70s and 80s acts such as Fleetwood Mac and Talking Heads. The album includes the single 'The Great Defector'.
