“Shifting City” was the first work created by Foxx and fellow Mancunian musician Louis Gordon, and originally released in March 1997, following Foxx’s lengthy break from music. Foxx describes it as “pure Urban Electronica. Analog synths, 909, 808, stripped down, minimal and relentless – and interbred with psychedelic gene code”.

Three previously unreleased bonus tracks have been added for this release.

Disc Two of this special re-issue will contain “The Omnidelic Exotour”, recorded live by Foxx and Gordon at A Certain Ratio's Warehouse in Ancoats, Manchester and at Metamatic Studio in 1997.
