Thunder Europe's most popular and favourite Classic Rock band THUNDER return with a brand new 12 track studio album entitled 'BANG!'. The band's latest champion is a huge one in Radio 2's Chris Evans, with strong/constant support from Classic Rock magazine and Rock Radio, Bang! is shaping up to be the band's most successful album to-date. Puressence Manchester's most consistently acclaimed guitar band Puressence feature their current album's title track 'Don't Forget To Remember' on our debut free download album. A unique voice surrounded by an epic wall of sound say many. The album was personally selected by Itunes USA to launch their 'Editor's Choice' homepage campaign. This proved a huge break for the band driving the album into the Itunes USA Top 30 album chart. Puressence enjoy great success in Greece where this album has been a Top 5 hit & was their home for their first ever Number 1 radio hit 'Don't Know Any Better'. 2009 will see a series of further releases alongside their biggest UK shows to-date.
Ian McNabb Ian McNabb fronted one of the UK's most acclaimed 80's guitar band 'The Icicle Works'. Branching out then as a solo artist, his second solo album 'Head Like A Rock' was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize & featured Neil Young's band 'Crazy Horse'. 'The Lonely Ones' is taken from the 'Before All Of This' album which featured his first Top 40 hit in over 20 years, 'Let The Young Girl Do What She Wants To Do'.
I Am Kloot Manchester three piece I Am Kloot remain our best kept secret outside of the band's loyal hardcore fanbase. Song writing of the highest order with a vocalist that always delivers. 'Everyday epics from Johnny Bramwell the front man of the best band to come out of Manchester in the last 20 years' THE INDEPENDENT 'Johnny Bramwell from I Am Kloot is one of the four most talented singer-songwriters this country as produced in the last 10 years' PETE DOHERTY. 'Down At The Front' is taken from the band's latest album 'Play Moolah Rouge' which includes an hour long  DVD featuring a documentary and exclusive live material.
Marion Marion emerged in the mid 90's releasing two albums 'This World and Body' and 'The Program' and toured alongside Radiohead, Morrissey & Electrafixion enjoying a string of Top 40 singles before splitting in 1999. The band came together again in 2006 playing a succession of sell out shows alongside recording their first material in nearly 10 years. 'Oh Lord' is taken their download EP 'Live In The Studio Sessions'.
Lancashire Hotpots Rapidly rising comedy/folk band 'The Lancashire Hotpots' are taking the circuit by storm with their superior live shows and albums 'Never Mind The Hotpots' and 'Pot Sounds' both of which have hit the Number 1 spot on the Itunes comedy album chart. Describing themselves as '21st Century Folk for 21st Century Folk' the band have enjoyed strong national support from Radio 1 & 2 alongside making several television appearances and recently completing a sell out tour with comedian Paddy McGuiness. 'Keys, Wallet Phone' is taken from their current album 'Pot Sounds'.
Icicle Works Alongside Echo & The Bunnymen, Teardrop Explodes and Dead Or Alive, the Icicle Works were a part of the 1980's explosive Liverpool music scene. Fronted by singer-songwriter Ian McNabb the band enjoyed a string of acclaimed albums and sell out UK tours. 'Love Is A Wonderful Colour' is a live recording from Boston, USA in 1984 and features on our exclusive download album 'Lost Icicles Vol 2'.
The Levellers 'Before The End' is taken from 'Letters From The Underground' the ninth studio album from Brighton based outfit The Levellers. Recorded at their own Metway Studios and produced by the band themselves, the album sees The Levellers doing what they do best, combining politically charged lyrics with their unique upbeat brand of anarcho-folk punk.
John Foxx Electronic pioneer John Foxx originally fronted Ultravox before establishing himself as a leading solo artist in the electronic music field. 'Shadow Man' is taken from the album 'Neuro Vision'. John has a whole range of exclusive material and merchandise available on Townsend Records
Jade Gallagher Jade Gallagher is a Liverpool based singer-songwriter who has played live alongside a host of international artists including Van Morrison, Westlife, Sugababes, Roger McGuinn and Joan Armatrading. 'Shooting Star' is taken from her debut album 'Maybe This'.
Toby Jepson Toby Jepson has enjoyed over 20 years in the music business which began fronting popular Brit Rockets 'The Little Angels'. 'The Little Angels' released four albums on the Polydor label with their final album 'Jam' reaching Number 1 on the UK album charts. Toby & the band played stages worldwide alongside artists such as Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, Van Halen &  ZZ Top before playing their final sell-out headline show at London's Royal Albert Hall. Following work in the film business Toby then teamed up with Townsend to begin a succession of innovative releases initially with the Toby Jepson MP3 club & then the 'Guitar Bass and Drums' EP schedule of which his featured track 'Money Goes (Ebb and Flow)' is taken from. Toby was seen throughout 2007 fronting rock band Fastway which featured former Motorhead iconic guitarist Fast Eddie Clarke. After playing a one-off charity show in Glasgow January 2008 with Scottish rock band GUN, Toby has now joined the band & will be shortly announcing a touring/release schedule for 2009.
Ian Hunter Rock icon Ian Hunter fronted the seminal and iconic rock band 'Mott The Hoople' throughout the seventies performing their hits such as 'All The Young Dudes', ' All The Way From Memphis' and 'The Golden Age Of Rock N Roll'. Ian then launched a solo career with 'When The World Is Round' taken  from his latest studio album 'Shrunken Heads'.
