'Escape Velocity' is the fourth studio album from Pennsylvanian space-rockers Zombi. Referencing Italian horror scores, especially the cult band Goblin on their previous records, the duo turn to the cutting-edge synths sounds of the eighties, soaking in everything from Giorgio Moroder to the cosmic krautrock sounds of Neu and Harmonia. The results are both pulsating and surprisingly ethereal. It includes the track 'Shrunken Heads'.
