Talking to You, Talking to Me
Second full-length album, following 2008's 'Fire Songs', from Kentucky-born identical twin sisters Chandra & Leigh Watson, probably best known for their collaboration with Rilo Kiley's Jenny Lewis on her 2006 debut solo album 'Rabbit Fur Coat'. This time, the elements of classic soul and R&B that were subtly audible on their debut among the alt. country and Americana influences are much more overt, with echoes of Etta James and Aretha Franklin. The album was produced by Everest's Russ Pollard & Jason Soda, and recorded on the same mixing desk as Pink Floyd's 'The Wall'.
