A collaboration between the Legendary Pink Dots' Niels Van Hoorn and Ryan Moore, Colours is an eclectic sonic adventure. The album collects improvised recordings by Van Hoorn, played on his saxophones, clarinets, flutes, and keyboards, that were then mixed by Moore using his "effects kitchen." The result ranges from the free jazzy "Landscape" to the ominous synth groans and flute loops of "Indian Dakota," a dark, psychedelic swirl of Native American melodies and deep atmospherics.
