On their fifth album, Labradford--a band already known for its sparse, dreamy soundscapes--tones things down even further. In approaching a more minimalist aesthetic, Virginia's favorite post-rockers drop the film-noir Ennio Morricone vibe that garnered unnecessary comparisons to Tortoise.
