Even before a single note is heard, Poland's aptly named Daymares already deserve some credit for finally breaking the grindcore-focused mold of SelfMadeGod Records, with a debut album that's nearly as reliant on straight up heavy metal as it is on punk and hardcore. Yes, hardcore's forthright speed and aggression are still dominant forces in many of Can't Get Us All's 11 tracks, including "Key Witness," "Cult Leader," and the title song -- all of which revise the age old formula established by the likes of Black Flag, Agnostic Front, and Cro-Mags all the way back in the early 1980s (albeit with more death-style grunt vocals leading the charge).
