Dark Sea Dream's self-titled debut album sees the band take inspiration from British shoegaze legends My Bloody Valentine as well as artists such as Mogwai and Neurosis. A mix of guitar drones, rhythmic drumming and harsh feedback gives the album an otherworldly feel, enveloping the listener in an intense wall of noise and creating a sound which owes as much to the post-rock scene as it does to black metal.
