Vietnamese Traditional Music
Pham Duc Thanh is one of the best musicians of Vietnamese traditional music. He is now living in Montréal, Canada. At the age of six, he already played the dàn bau, the dàn tranh, and the dan nhi. He even created his own version of the dàn bau that is called the dàn bau go, which he plays on the CD. He is also a student of Professor Trân Van Lhê. He is accompanied by his wife Liê Nguyêt Lan, a singer in modern and traditional Vietnamese singing.
