Year of the Wolf is British singer/songwriter Nerina Pallot’s fourth full-length studio album, although it is the first to be released on a major label since the 2006 release of Fires. Pallot was pregnant during much of the album’s production, which affected the recording, as it made it harder for Pallot to sing normally. The first single from the album, "Put Your Hands Up," was originally written for Kylie Minogue’s 2010 album, Aphrodite.
